There are currently 40 Land Rovers that are operational for the Sandakphu Phalut tour from Manebhanjan, which are well-equipped to take you through the hairpin and swill curves of the high terrain. The full maintenance, operation and booking of these Land Rovers are under the Singalila Land Rover Owner’s Welfare Association.
Surprisingly, all the Land Rovers that are operational in Sandakphu are nearly more than 70 years old, considering the first one was initiated in 1958 in Manebhanjan.
